Solicitude- care or concern for someone or something
Ex: She expressed solicitude for the hands of the old women tasked with stripping the bok choy leaves from their stems in the stuffy basements of Chinese restaurants. Then she thought about their bound feet, and suddenly she wasn’t so concerned about their hands anymore. Then she thought about how their culture’s treatment of women as inferiors probably prevented them from pursuing their true career paths, and she wasn’t so concerned about their feet anymore. Then she thought about General Tso’s chicken, and she no longer had a care in the world.
Imprudent- lacking good sense; rash
Ex: An imprudent decision was made by the novice Cheesecake Factory customer to ask the server what his favorite dish was. *Cut to, 25 minutes later* “…But I also enjoy the upside-down pineapple cake cheesecake with Milky Way crumble. Hmphhh it’s such a toss-up though between that, the Oreo-Reese’s cheesecake, the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, the Snickers extreme cheesecake, and the chocaholic boom-choca-laka atomic coco bomb cheesecake. But since you’re new here, you may want to just start with the original, classic cheesecake.”
“So, let me get this straight, you’re telling me to get the regular cheesecake. After you just read me the entire goddamn Mahabharata, you’re telling me to just go for the plain. Are you KIDDING ME!? What’s next, you’re going to say I should start with the chicken alfredo as well?”
*They lock eyes as the server slowly withdraws his finger that was pointed to the chicken alfredo on the menu*
“WHY YOU LITTLE!” *customer chokes the server out Homer-on-Bart-style*
