Ex: I felt a sense of rancorousness wash over me as a realized what we missed out on by not having the internet until the 90’s. Think of a specific era in the past and imagine what the internet would be like during that time. Let’s take the industrial revolution for example. You’d see a tweet like, “There was a school shooting today. Some kid came in with a musket. Nobody died. Also, there was nobody at school. All the kids were working in a factory. Sixteen of them were dragged into a woodworking joiner machine and their bones were turned to dust.”
