Ex: We took it as sort of an ominous prognostication that the ladies of the night in the red light district weren’t even lining the windows of every seedy neon storefront. Was this city of sin finally getting its act together? Were ladies of the night being replaced by *gasp* men of the morning? The bizzaro antitheses of those hos4hire that show up at your apartment dressed in business casual attire and do things like file your taxes and lecture you about cryptocurrency for a flat hourly fee? Were psychedelic truffles being replaced by chanterelles served in a vegan pizza joint specializing in locally foraged fungi? Were coffee shops now just…coffee shops? It pains me to say this, but I think it may be easier to score molly off of a Fortnite streamer in a Travis Scott hoodie than from a bouncer out here. If I’m looking to party, I’m going to go to Cleveland. Cheap booze. Low standards. A community of blue collar legends who’ll just prop you up on the couch Weekend at Bernie’s style if you get alcohol poisoning.
