Listless- lacking energy
Ex: Helena was listless without her morning cup of cold brew. She used to join zoom meetings with the biggest shit-eating grin on her face, way too excited to begin each and every workday. Now, her coworkers were lucky if she even turned on her camera. Actually, they would probably consider themselves lucky if she didn’t turn on her camera, as her sunken eyes, bedhead, and zombie-like detached stare made the meeting feel less like a zoom call and more like a viewing of the cursed videotape from The Ring. To say she lived off of caffeine would be a gross understatement. She often looked off into the distance, enchanted by the far away call of the green Starbucks Siren. She was caffeine. Caffeine was her.
