Legerdemain, Anathema

Legerdemain- sleight of hand; the ability to deceive people while performing tricks or magic

Ex: Valerie and Raymond left the magic show content, for the most part. Valerie had no complaints about the show, but Raymond’s mind kept flashing back to one moment during the performance when he felt a mysterious pressure inside his anal cavity. He thought to himself that there was no possible way that this was some type of sexually aggressive and personally invasive act of legerdemain, or at least he hoped. Right, RIGHT!? They were seated in the front row, but how…how could he possibly…I mean he did execute some quite advanced illusions…but…there’s no way…that wand did stretch to what seemed like an impossible length…but…no, it couldn’t have been…could it?

Anathema- a person or thing that is despised or loathed

Ex: Whitefish, despite being anathema to much of the general populace, has found a loving home in the Jewish community. Just picturing a healthy schmear of whitefish on a toasted bagel will make David verklempt.
