Impudent- characterized by offensive boldness; not showing respect to others
Ex: When you’re famous, you can treat your staff with an ungodly amount of impudence and people won’t even bat an eye. Sometimes on these people’s payrolls you may find a doormat-guy. As in, a guy who wears a burlap vest full of bristles and lays down to function as a doormat when said famous person is entering a building and needs to clean off his or her shoes. You may also find a mop guy, who wears a patchwork quilt of Swiffer wetjet wipes and inserts a metal rod into his anus in order to be flopped around to clean dirty floors. You may also find a bathroom guy, but he just is there to fix the toilet. Get your mind out of the gutter.
Refractory- stubbornly resistant to control
Ex: The refractory organ player at the funeral put on a Shrek mask and launched into a rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” despite desperate protests from the immediate family of the recently deceased.
How the other half live, eh. Well no rest for the mop guy 🥲
