Gauche, Inchoate, Anachronism
Gauche- clumsy; socially awkward
Ex: The gauche teenage boys stood in the corner at the homecoming dance, trying to compete with one another to see who could hit “The Dougie” the hardest. They were too embarrassed to talk to any of the girls on the other side of the dance floor. Oh but of course, they had no shame in sitting in a semi-circle and jerking off under the light cover of pillows while watching Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior later that night at a sleepover.
Inchoate- undeveloped; just recently formed; in its beginning stages
Ex: Their inchoate friendship was a little less likely to blossom into a real bond when Kevin revealed to Hank the quote, unquote “crown-jewel” of his CD collection: a signed copy of DJ Khaled’s 2022 flop, God Did.
Anachronism- something out of place chronologically, from a different time period in which it does not belong
Ex: “Nice picture Mikey!” Exclaimed Mikey’s dad, purposely choosing to ignore the blatant anachronism in the drawing. No, Abraham Lincoln did not ever drive his Tesla to Silicon Valley to give a lecture on carbon emissions.
