Debonair, Insolent, Disconsolate
Debonair- suave, handsome, sophisticated
Ex: Growing up, there was no better compliment than grandma letting you know you were a debonair little gentleman whenever you dressed up nicely for a family function.
Insolent- rudely defiant and brazen, lacking respect
Ex: Lucas became impatient and insolent in the buffet line at Golden Corral, shouting at the rotund ladies ahead of him, “Get a move on, wildebeests! You’re slurping up the whole watering hole! You’ll live without sampling everything at the chocolate fountain! Shuffle those thunder thighs along and scram!”
Disconsolate- inconsolable, very unhappy or sad
Ex: I’ve been told if you hold a picture of Steve Buscemi in front of a baby they become disconsolate. “And I was watching Boardwalk Empire last night, so you can guess how little Fran was acting!”
