Concomitant- naturally accompanying or associated
Ex: The continental breakfast spread had all the fixings concomitant with a 2 star Red Roof Inn’s cuisine program. You had your sad wet discs of dough and sweet cheese— a “Danish” that had never even left the desolate stretch between its factory in Detroit and its final resting place in Indianapolis. A pastry that could huck a bucket of its own icing at a topographical globe and wouldn’t even soil that flat patch of southern Scandinavia. There were the powdered scrambled eggs, again an all-too-moist sulfuric yellow compound that seemed to have been ripped from the insulation behind the drywall and rough, peeling, puke-green wallpaper of a double queen smoking room. There was a basket of bananas, each one of them as solid and unyielding as a steel rod, an electric neon green shade that probably doubled as some sort aposematic poison-signaling mechanism to the slovenly oafs seated at the square four-tops in the lobby. One of the oafs glanced at the basket and was sadly reminded of his own battle with Peyronie’s Disease. Amongst the unripe tropical fruit lay one remarkably overripe outlier, a brown boomerang with black sun-spots that only seemed to loosely retain its shape, and was surely the consistency of custard beneath its dark, fibrous pelt. There was a glass case with a sliding door that housed 100 calorie packs of sugary cereal with such familiar mascots as the Cuckoo who was violently withdrawing from crack cocaine and jonesing for one final measly cocoa puff to provide him some short-lived bliss, the painfully optimistic chad-like Tiger who refused to let the greater socioeconomic climate and the decay of the middle-class spoil his pedophilic escapades with someone else’s son in someone else’s backyard somewhere in suburban America, and the reefer-scented, patois-speaking Cinnamon stick who could outrun an apple, but could never outrun that possession with intent to sell case he caught when he first emigrated to Flatbush.
