Chicanery

Chicanery- the use of trickery to achieve a political, financial, or legal purpose

Ex: The orange haired politician used all means of chicanery in his campaign. He behaved as some deep sea chemosynthetic bacteria, spewing hot air from his vents to give life to his mute and blind giant tube worm sycophants. These disfigured, phallic creatures inhabited places that no half-sane organism dared venture to. Places like Jackson, Mississippi, and Shreveport, Louisiana, where no light (science) could penetrate. Places where scratch off tickets rained down from the sky like marine snow and you held tight to your catalytic converter as if it were your next of kin that could at any time be snatched up by a hungry goblin shark (meth-head trading car parts and copper pipes for cash). Places where the lines for food stamps stretched to the same lengths as tightly bound colonies of bioluminescent siphonophores, weaving a string of pleated dickies shorts and diabetic socks around decaying city blocks. Alright, I think this metaphor has reached its logical conclusion. Once siphonophores are mentioned that’s usually a sign to wrap things up. Time to climb out of the Mariana-trench sized rabbit hole that I stumbled down on YouTube last night. Alright, that’s the last one, I promise.
