Behoove
We’ll return to Wipewitaleaf Nature Center soon. For now, back to the vocab.
Behoove- to be necessary, proper, or advantageous for
Ex: “You know, it really would behoove you to take that scotch tape off your eyes and to shave that Fu Manchu before meeting with Mr. Ki-Moon.”
“I don’t tell you how to dress, do I Leslie? Right, that’s what I thought. So, you don’t get to tell me how to conduct internationally significant matters of foreign diplomacy, okay?”
“If I recall correctly, you actually did try to drop off a bag of ultra-low scoop necks in my changing room. When I confronted you about it, you just blamed the janitor. Also, your only experience in these matters comes from the promos you had to cut in the WWE before you fought Taka Michinoku. And I wouldn’t recommend tearing a piece of sweet and sour chicken in half as an intimidation tactic this time around either.”
“Leslie, less talking, more make up. Do you think these chopsticks are strong enough to hold up my man bun?”
